On 22 March 2023, the newly formed CityU MBA PEC Web 3.0 Student Club successfully launched its first workshop and networking event series with a Pizza Day.
The Club invited Prof Guangwu Liu from the Department of Management Studies at CityU as the guest speaker to share his expertise and insights, providing attendees knowledge about the new generation of internet, Web 3.0, which is now readable, writable, and possessable. The event offered a unique opportunity for attendees to network with each other and potentially find team partners for the upcoming Hackathon. The exchange of entrepreneurial ideas and collaboration among like-minded individuals resulted in the creation of innovative projects.
The PEC Web 3.0 Student Club is committed to providing a platform for students to learn about and engage with the latest technologies and trends in the field of web development. The Pizza Day event was just the beginning of a series of exciting workshops and networking events, and the Club looks forward to welcoming more students and professionals to join their community.
