Following the success of our Shenzhen mixer, the CityUHK College of Business brought the energy back to Hong Kong on March 28 for an unforgettable evening of networking and celebration.
We were thrilled to see a fantastic turnout of 60+ alumni from both our MBA and Global EMBA programmes. The atmosphere at Amaroni’s in Festival Walk was electric, filled with the spirit of a true homecoming as the pillars of our business community reunited under one roof.
A Gathering of Leaders and Visionaries
The evening was graced by the leadership of our core programmes, including:
-
Professor Kevin Sun, MBA Programme Director
-
Professor Michael Wong, Global EMBA Programme Director
Their presence underscored our commitment to maintaining a lifelong relationship with our graduates. Joining the festivities were also our dedicated Mentors from the MBA Mentorship Programme and several of our esteemed Industry Partners, adding a layer of professional depth to the night’s conversations.
More Than Just a Social
As the evening progressed over complimentary drinks and canapés, the venue became a hub of "cross-pollination." We witnessed:
-
Legacy Meetings: Seasoned Global EMBA alumni sharing industry wisdom with our recent MBA graduates.
-
Renewed Ties: Former classmates catching up on career milestones since graduation.
-
New Synergies: Mentors and industry partners exploring future collaborations with our talented alumni network.
"Our mission remains clear: to protect and increase the value of your degree by providing these elite platforms for connection. Seeing 60+ leaders from different cohorts exchanging insights is exactly how we strengthen the CityUHK legacy."
Looking Forward
This event marked the conclusion of our March alumni series, but the momentum doesn't stop here. The strength of the CityUHK network lies in its people, and we are already looking forward to our next gathering.
