Professor Chen Yangyang is a Professor and Head of the Department of Accountancy at the City University of Hong Kong. He received his PhD from the University of Melbourne. His research interests lie in corporate finance and financial accounting, including management compensation, corporate innovation, audit quality and pricing, earnings management, and corporate disclosure. His work has been published in The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, among others. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the China Journal of Accounting Research and Co-Editor of the Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics.
