When to Apply

Exchange Period
Semester A (for full-time students)
Semester A or B (for part-time students)

Application Period
1 to 30 November

Academic Arrangement

  • Students have to defer their study in CityU for a semester during their exchange period
  • No credit transfer will be arranged to students after their studies
  • Students would be registered as not-for-degree visiting or exchange students in their host institution
  • No approval of courses is required by the MBA programme director and students may study any business courses offered by their host institution
  • Failure of two or more courses will automatically trigger notification to MBA programme director

Financial Arrangement

Tuition Fees: Students will pay the continuation fee to their home departments in the College of Business before proceeding to go on exchange to their host institution. No Tuition fees are required.

Other Fees: Students shall be responsible for all costs incurred before, during exchange and after exchange such as the following:

  • International Transportation
  • Room and Board
  • Health and Travel Insurance
  • Telephone Costs
  • Personal Expenses
  • Entertainment
  • Travel Insurance
  • Books and Related Instructional Materials
