More than 20 CityU MBA students and professors, including Prof. Kevin CHIANG, Prof. LIM Kai, Dr. Wilson CHAN, Dr. Gang HAO, Dr. Alex WANG and Dr. WEI Liyuan, visited High Fashion (China) Co. Ltd. in Hangzhou for the 10-day MBA Enterprise Diagnostic Residential trip (R-Trip). High Fashion is a HKEx listed company servicing retailers globally with near 40 years of experience in silk textile and garment. Our group conducted consultancy activities in the areas of e-Platform, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management for the company.

Mr. KK Wong, the Co-founder and Vice President of Xiaomi Technology visited the College of Business at CityU on April 16, 2016. Invited by CityU MBA Alumni Association (CityU MBAAA), Mr. Wong has delivered an interactive and informative morning seminar to our MBA students and alumni by showing us how “Xiaomi Way” led to success in the path of entrepreneurship.

Mr. Wilfred Yiu, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Beijing Gao Hua Securities, came to CityU campus on 14th April, 2016 and spent a meaningful night with CityU MBA students on the topic of "American firm doing business in China". Mr. Yiu has been working in American banking business for more than two decades. As one of the key representatives in a world-class American investment bank, he shared his experience and views on how American business can success in Chinese environment.

A group of 40 MBA students and staff members traveled to Shenzhen China on the 6 December 2016, visiting the China Merchants Group, a leading state owned conglomerate based in Hong Kong, under direct supervision of Stated-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

CityU MBA programme proudly presents the brand-new Study Trip in London: Global Brand Management Workshop. This workshop is conducted at Imperial College Business School, a world’s top-ten ranked university in the heart of London. A group of 30 participants led by Professor Kevin Chiang, Director of CityU MBA programme, started their experiential learning journey in mid-March, 2016. During the trip, they have attended a series of lectures delivered by world-class professors, several international enterprise visits to meet with industry leaders and networking event with MBA students from Imperial College.

Ir Ng Cheung Shing, Founder and Chairman of Computer And Technologies Holdings Ltd (SEHK:0064) has visited CityU and shared with MBA students his career insights in becoming an entrepreneur in the IT sector. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, Ir Ng has worked for a number of top companies including Sun Hung Kai and Hewlett Packard. He then founded his own business in the IT sector in 1991, namely, Computer And Technologies Holdings Ltd, which is listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange (SEHK:0064), employing over 400 IT professionals in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

The 2nd Industry On-site Workshop was successfully held on 18 January 2016 in Qianhai, China. Participants spent a day to learn the overall development of the area by visiting the Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Youth Innovation and Entrepreneur Hub and the China Merchants Group.
