Participants from Cohort 2014 has organized a Christmas Party on December 20th. Many of our current students gathered and shared a wonderful night together.

Joy of giving and sharing love is what Christmas is all about! 16 children from Prince Centre (Supportive Learning Project) of Heep Hong Society have joined a Christmas event: “Access to MBA” at CityU organized by the MBA Community Service Club on December 20th 2014.

The Career Centre of the MBA Programme organized the Business Mentoring Kick-off event on 17th December 2014. The event has attracted over 40 participants including MBA Business Mentors representing organizations from the public, private and non-profit sectors, current MBAs and colleague of the College of Business.

Christmas is love in action. The Hitchcock team has organized a Christmas Party in the MBA Pre-function Area to celebrating the Christmas season as well as receiving donation for the MBA OSC Challenge.

Thirty MBA participants and staff members from the College of Business have visited the MTR headquarter on 18 November 2014 as part of the course Industry Onsite Workshop.

Dr WK Lo, Member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) representing the Engineering Functional Constituency, has visited CityU and shared with our MBA students his professional journey as an engineer and an expert in the areas of infrastructure, town planning, housing, technology, education and community services.

A team of CityU MBA students and alumni (The Hitchcock team) is representing the University to compete with 14 other MBA teams in the Operation Santa Claus (OSC) MBA Charity Challenge 2014. The annual fundraising campaign, jointly organised by South China Morning Post (SCMP) and Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), is designed for the teams to utilise their innovativeness and business skills to raise money for the needy in Hong Kong and China.

Ms Janet Chan, Senior Counsellor from Student Development Services (SDS) conducted a debriefing session of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI*) on 20 October 2014 for our MBA participants who completed the online assessment so that they could plan their career better based on their personalities.

15 Oct 2014 Student Club Event: “Dress for Success - How to Build Your Executive Look?” The MBA Marketing Club invited Ms Christine Zhou, an experienced Personal Stylist, Colour Analyst, and Personal Shopper to deliver a professional image building workshop for our MBA students and alumni on 15 October 2014.

Dr Mary Pang, Associate Dean (Internationalization) introduced a unique and exciting opportunity for postgraduate cultural exchange and TRIANGLE exchange programmes to our MBA students.
