A thought leader in global mobility for the last 50 years, Mr James Thompson, Founder and Chairman of Crown Worldwide Group, has visited CityU and discussed these questions with students at the Executive Discovery and Network session hosted by the MBA Programme.
The sharing session was started from the establishment of Crown Worldwide Group in 1965 with a small office in Yokohama Japan. The company was expanded to Hong Kong in 1970, later on became international and nowadays at a multinational level headquartered in Hong Kong but employing 5200 employee worldwide in 265 locations. Mr Thompson has shared the difficulties and challenges he has encountered over the years and how the company success was driven by his enviable passion, energetic mindset and countless ideas. Through his career and leadership, Mr Thompson is actively engaged with government, business and NGOs, and has been appointed to a number of significant board and committees.
