We warmly received around 60 MBA alumni for a reunion on 16 March 2024. The gathering provided an excellent opportunity for MBA alumni from different academic years and industries to come together and exchange ideas while enjoying delicious food and drinks in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The alumni had a wonderful time reconnecting with professors, classmates and making new friends and gaining valuable insights.

9 September 2023
Despite the adverse weather that occurred in Hong Kong in early September, we managed to welcome our new cohort of students to the MBA Orientation on September 9, 2023. The orientation began with engaging team-building activities to build trust and connections among the students, proving once again that "together everyone achieves more" (TEAM). It also signifies although there will be challenges ahead, they can overcome them through learning and support from their learning partners.

Venturing beyond the classrooms, CityU MBA led a group of students to Silicon Valley and kick-started the Entrepreneurship & Venture Plan Development course at UC Berkeley for a ten-day experiential learning journey.

June 2023 was a fulfilling month for our MBA students with the experiential learning course in the United Kingdom. Led by MBA Director Professor Kevin Chiang, the students travelled to Imperial College London to participate in a research project focused on the market and branding of the Royal Albert Hall. This iconic concert venue has a century-long history and is renowned for its prestige.

On 22 March 2023, the newly formed CityU MBA PEC Web 3.0 Student Club successfully launched its first workshop and networking event series with a Pizza Day. The Club invited Prof Guangwu Liu from the Department of Management Studies at CityU as the guest speaker to share his expertise and insights, providing attendees knowledge about the new generation of internet, Web 3.0, which is now readable, writable, and possessable. The event offered a unique opportunity for attendees to network with each other and potentially find team partners for the upcoming Hackathon.

The kickoff meeting for the Business Mentoring Programme 2022-23 officially launched on 16 Dec. The business mentors dedicated time and effort to sharing their real-world expertise to help student mentees broaden their horizons. Through mentorship, MBA students will cultivate their professional networks, learn about business executives' challenges, and extend mentors' experience in their desired fields in the upcoming 6 months before the end of the programme. 7 April 2022
The first SHARP Forum 2022, "Sustainable Finance: A Pathway towards Carbon Neutrality" was broadcasted via seven streaming platforms with more than 5,200 audiences in Hong Kong, China, and overseas participating live on the 7th of April, Thursday. It unfolded a series of forums under the theme of "Build a Sustainable Future," followed by 3 other forums on Fashion, Food, and Building in late May.
