The kickoff meeting for the Business Mentoring Programme 2022-23 officially launched on 16 Dec. The business mentors dedicated time and effort to sharing their real-world expertise to help student mentees broaden their horizons. Through mentorship, MBA students will cultivate their professional networks, learn about business executives' challenges, and extend mentors' experience in their desired fields in the upcoming 6 months before the end of the programme. The first SHARP Forum 2022, "Sustainable Finance: A Pathway towards Carbon Neutrality" was broadcasted via seven streaming platforms with more than 5,200 audiences in Hong Kong, China, and overseas participating live on the 7th of April, Thursday. It unfolded a series of forums under the theme of "Build a Sustainable Future," followed by 3 other forums on Fashion, Food, and Building in late May.  

The College of Business is pleased to announce an innovative professional degree collaboration across the business and law disciplines. An accelerated path to business and law courses will be offered by the MBA and Juris Doctor (JD) programmes from the 2022/23 academic year onwards. 

A warm welcome to the 2021 Cohort! The new students kicked off their MBA journey with a series of Orientation activities in the first week of September with various workshops and networking sessions with the current students, alumni, mentors and faculty members.

Industry experts from the retail and financial services sector in Hong Kong joined the CityU MBA SHARP Forum on 6th May 2021 to share insights on the topic: Consumers and the New Reality: Boosting Immunity against Competitive Threats with Digital Innovation. Over a hundred of the audience participated in the Forum in-person and online.

The 1st SHARP Forum in 2021 has successfully completed with Industry leaders (Aaron Yim, Ricoh Hong Kong; Jordan Kostelac, JLL; Guru Balasubramaniam, Rentokil Initial; and Eric Yeung, Smart City Consortium) sharing their views on the development of digitalisation and automation technology in future workplace.

We are excited to share the successful kick-off of our 2021 MBA Business Mentoring Programme. Our Programme Director Prof Chiang expressed his appreciation to our mentors for helping our students with their career development through this programme. During the event, the mentors had given the students inspirational sharing while breaking boundaries between online attendees and physical presence discussion on the topics given.
