About 30 MBA students and alumni had met up in Shatin in the morning of September 20th, 2014 (Sat) to participate in the Yan Oi Tong’s Flag Day as volunteers. All participants were all excited to have such an opportunity in supporting the community through this meaningful activity.

"The response of this activity was encouraging as some of our learning partners even joined us with their parents and children. "Flag selling" is certainly an excellent family activity in delivering positive messages and educating our next generation the importance of community services." said Deanie who initiated and gathered our participants together for this Flag Day. Not to mention that flag selling also brought new experiences to some of our non-local participants who did not have chances in joining such activity in their home town.

Participants were encouraged to put on the CityU MBA Polo-shirt for the Flag Day in promoting the spirit of teamwork. The fund raised in this activity would be used to provide comprehensive support and services to a group of elderly and underprivileged.

The Programme Management Team strongly encourages our MBA students and alumni to serve the community through participating in volunteer work and would like to take this opportunity to express their deepest gratitude for participants’ great contributions put into the activity. Let’s join hands to improve the quality of life of the less fortunate and better serve Hong Kong, our home.
