Professor Way Kuo, President and University Distinguished Professor, City University of Hong Kong had delivered a talk on the topic of "Energy Resources – Strategies and National Safety" at the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre on 18 September 2014 (Thu) to be featured by the television program "Century Auditorium" of Phoenix TV (世紀大講堂 - 鳳凰衛視).
About 100 participants (including more than thirty MBA students) joined the talk and had opportunities to speak with Professor Kuo directly regarding energy resources and how different resources affect modern human life and our environment. While reliable resources of energy have important influence and relationship for national safety, it is essential for us to strike a balance in between economic development and environmental protection in the long run.
Our MBA students enjoyed the talk and were actively involved in raising questions in the event.
