October 20th, 2014

Ms Janet Chan, Senior Counsellor from Student Development Services (SDS) conducted a debriefing session of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI*) on 20 October 2014 for our MBA participants who completed the online assessment so that they could plan their career better based on their personalities.

It is understandable that each personality type has its strengths and weaknesses. No one personality type is better than another. We hope that the assessment report could help participants to identify some suitable occupational categories for their career search. While MBTI is only one source of information for career planning, participants should also consider their interests and career goals in addition to the required skill set in a job when choosing their occupation or changing career.

The MBA Career Centre is designated to assist CityU MBA participants in planning their career development strategies and achieving their career goals through various seminars, workshops and assessment tools. For more information, please click: https://www.cb.cityu.edu.hk/mba/career/

* The MBTI assessment is a psychometric questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences. It helps participants to explore and identify careers that align with their personality type.
