The Career Centre of the MBA Programme organized the Business Mentoring Kick-off event on 17th December 2014. The event has attracted over 40 participants including MBA Business Mentors representing organizations from the public, private and non-profit sectors, current MBAs and colleague of the College of Business. The Business Mentoring programme aims to provide MBAs the valuable insight into skills, techniques and experience required to pursue a desirable and successful career. The programme also serves as a channel for mentors to contribute to the career and personal development of MBAs and alumni, whilst building links with the university.
The event highlighted how the Business Mentoring programme has continued to expand since its inception and now the advisory service has encompassed not only to the mentees who have enrolled in the MBA business mentoring course but also to all CityU MBAs and alumni. Mentees have had the opportunity to learn some vital tips on how to get the best from their mentor during the evening and the foreseeable support in exploring career prospects over the period of the next seven months.
