Ms Quince Chong
Chief Corporate Development Officer, CLP Power Hong Kong
Ms Quince Chong, Chief Corporate Development Officer of CLP Power Hong Kong shared her two important careers at Cathay Pacific Airways and CLP Power Hong Kong with MBA participants on 30 November 2015 (Mon) at the Professional Forum. Ms Chong joined Cathay Pacific Airways in 1998 and worked there for 14 years taking responsibilities for corporate affairs of the company and then moved to CLP Power Hong Kong in 2012 leading the functions of marketing and customer service, public affairs and community relations. Though the aviation (tangible product) and electric power (intangible product) industries sound very difference, Ms Chong shared their commonalities on safety, operational and service excellence. Taking crisis as communication challenges, she learns to understand and speaks the same language with her staff members in order to mobilize the team in delivering their best at all time. Ms Chong believes that teamwork is everything as there is no single effort in dealing with crises in corporations. She also seeks every opportunity to care for the community with a mission to serve Hong Kong as home. She ended the sharing with her motto “PATH to success” as Passionate, Alert, Truthful and Humble to explain how she can achieve success in both her career and life.
