More than 20 CityU MBA students and professors, including Prof. Kevin CHIANG, Prof. LIM Kai, Dr. Wilson CHAN, Dr. Gang HAO, Dr. Alex WANG and Dr. WEI Liyuan, visited High Fashion (China) Co. Ltd. in Hangzhou for the 10-day MBA Enterprise Diagnostic Residential trip (R-Trip). High Fashion is a HKEx listed company servicing retailers globally with near 40 years of experience in silk textile and garment. Our group conducted consultancy activities in the areas of e-Platform, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management for the company.
The trip included extensive site visits in its production bases for silk printing and dyeing, woven garment production and knitted garment manufacturing. To express our gratitude to High Fashion for their support to the learning opportunity, we hosted a dinner banquet in our staying hotel, InterContinental Hangzhou, on 14 June 2016. The day before returning Hong Kong, the students formally presented their findings and suggestions in the company. The senior management of High Fashion, including the founder and the Chairman, Mr. LAM Foo Wah, and three Executive Directors, Ms. Patricia SO, Mr. Will LAM, Mr. Well LAM, provided valuable feedback after each presentation. The Chairman enjoyed the stimulating interactions with our supervisors and students. He highly appreciated their inspiring ideas and advisories. In his concluding remark, Prof. Kevin CHIANG, MBA Director, was proud of the students’ outstanding work and accomplishments. He thanked all supervisors for their hard efforts in providing valuable guidance to the students.
