CityU MBA Alumni Association (MBAAA) invited Dr Juergen Rahmel to deliver an informative talk on Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning for our students and alumni. All the audience enjoyed the talk that broadened their horizons with in-depth knowledge of A.I.
Dr Rahmel has specialist knowledge from many years of research in A.I. and professional experience in information security from working in international banking sector for nearly 20 years. In the talk, he introduced the 3 basic concepts of A.I.: Capabilities, Knowledge and Learning. By quoting some interesting examples such as the Movie “War Games” and the Go-playing computer program AlphaGo, Dr Rahmel explained how the concepts applied and some jargons like Neural Networks and Deep Learning to the audiences.
In addition to the Happy Hour Gathering on 3rd week of the month, MBAAA organizes regular seminars and activities for our students and alumni to join in expanding their networks.
