The experiential learning course "Entrepreneurship and Venture Plan Development" has commenced in early July 2020. Students have gone through a series of workshops to prep them to develop their business ideas and venture proposals focusing on the Greater Bay Area in this course.

Mr. Clement Chen, J.P., CEO, and Dr. Gordon Lam, Executive Director Bonjour Holdings Limited, were invited to deliver a speech to kickstart the course at its Innovation Centre in Tsuen Wan. Through the guest talk by Dr. Lam and the site visit in the Centre, students learned much about the new strategies in the online platforms and Bonjour's KOL (Key Opinion Leaders) campaign and its market opportunities.

The second part of the course was a series of workshops conducted online for students to interact with experienced entrepreneurs in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Thailand. The interaction was active and provided students with a regional perspective on topics like social entrepreneurship and food tech, etc. The workshop series brought more insights that are practical to students in developing their venture plans.

The Entrepreneurship course finally concluded with a pitching presentation to the judging panel comprised of veterans from the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP), start-ups, and investment firms. The students have broken the boundaries again in knowledge sharing via different locations and time zones for creative ideas ranging from healthcare and leisure to personal development. The final pitch was not the end of the course but a good start to igniting the students' entrepreneurial spirits.
