Industry experts from the retail and financial services sector in Hong Kong joined the CityU MBA SHARP Forum on 6th May 2021 to share insights on the topic: Consumers and the New Reality: Boosting Immunity against Competitive Threats with Digital Innovation. Over a hundred of the audience participated in the Forum in-person and online.
To kick off the Forum, Anson Bailey, Partner, Head of Consumer & Retail, ASPAC of KPMG, shared his views and insights from KPMG's research and data about the new normal consumer behavior trends. Plato Wai, General Manager of SHOPLINE Hong Kong, and Calvin Ng, Alternate Chief Executive, Co-Head of Retail Banking at ZA Bank, Hong Kong's first virtual bank, talked about how their companies managed the challenges of social distancing restrictions.
Luke Chu, Chairman of Hong Kong Internet and E-comm Association, joined the Forum as the panel discussion moderator to discuss with all speakers how to develop innovative competitive channel strategies that align with new trends. Their sharing was well-received and appreciated by the attendees.
