The first SHARP Forum 2022, "Sustainable Finance: A Pathway towards Carbon Neutrality" was broadcasted via seven streaming platforms with more than 5,200 audiences in Hong Kong, China, and overseas participating live on the 7th of April, Thursday. It unfolded a series of forums under the theme of "Build a Sustainable Future," followed by 3 other forums on Fashion, Food, and Building in late May.
The organizing committee was grateful for the effort and time in preparing for the forum from the guest speakers, Mr. Eddy Lam, Mr. Jeffrey Yang, and Mr. Philip O. Peñaloza. Their insightful sharing covered compelling issues in green finance, including case studies on how Impact Investing supports conversation projects globally and the available sustainability-linked financial instruments, e.g., ESG ETP, carbon credit ETF, ESG Futures, etc. The committee would like to extend their gratitude to Ms. Angel Wei for moderating the panel discussion. Speakers' sharing greatly inspired people in the community to start seriously considering their sustainable investing strategies. The committee was also thankful for the financial support from the Grandly Financial Group and the live tech consultation from Jravity, a leading live platform in China.
