We warmly received around 60 MBA alumni for a reunion on 16 March 2024. The gathering provided an excellent opportunity for MBA alumni from different academic years and industries to come together and exchange ideas while enjoying delicious food and drinks in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The alumni had a wonderful time reconnecting with professors, classmates and making new friends and gaining valuable insights.
The alumni appreciated the networking opportunity provided by MBA Office. Ivan Lai, Senior Strategic Planner at a Chinese bank in Hong Kong, said “It is so great to join the alumni event. I feel the progress of the MBA Programme and I look forward to more diverse alumni activities in the future.”
MBA aluma Haley Lam, Assistant Customer Growth and Experience Manager (Tourist) at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, said, “I’m glad to gather with fellow alumni and meet new friends from different academic years within the CityU MBA family. This is a good chance to build network for our social and working circles. I can't wait to join upcoming alumni events with more talents.”
Prof. Chak-fu Lam, MBA Associate Director, shared the latest programme updates including experiential learning enrichment, and themes such as innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability and ESG responding to the global challenges. He also encouraged alumni to stay connected.
MBA student Rico Chan, Senior Human Resources Manager at Tam Jai International Limited, shared his learning experience with CityU MBA. Innes Chiu, Chair of the MBA Alumni Association, announces forthcoming activities, such as a golf event on 24 March and a Masterclass on 13 April. She invited all MBA alum and students to join and be active in the vibrant CityU MBA Community..
